LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Armadillo Tough will pay for the replacement of the defective product or parts to correct defects in materials or workmanship for the life of the product only for the product’s original warranty registrant only; and when used and maintained in accordance with the instructions furnished with the product. Armadillo Tough will honor its warranty for products that are registered online through the Armadillo Tough website within 60 days of purchase. For orders that are purchased at a retail partner or through a third-party website, original warranty registrants will be required to provide digital proof of purchase when registering your product(s).

  • What is the product warranty?
    A limited lifetime warranty covers all Armadillo products. Any modification to or use of any Armadillo products in a manner inconsistent with its intended use will void the warranty. Please click here for more details. 
  • What products come pre-assembled?
    All Armadillo cabinets, except those containing drawers, require minimal assembly.  While those cabinets with drawers take some additional assembly, no extra tools are required other than what your product provides. View our Assembly Guides and Videos for easy-to-follow instructions. 
  • Are the garage cabinet shelves height adjustable?
    All garage cabinets, except the 6-Drawer Tool Cabinet, allow you to adjust the height of the cabinet shelves.
  • What are the dimensions of your products?
    Dimensions for all of our products can be found on each product page on our website.
  • What is the steel gauge used for garage cabinets?
    Our cabinet frames are made from 22 gauge steel.
  • Can I customize a Pre-configured cabinet set?
    At this time, you cannot make changes to a pre-configured cabinet set. However, you can create configurations by adding individual cabinets to your cart. Please measure your space correctly so your configuration fits as you expected.
  • Am I able to change the layout of my cabinet set after delivery?
    Yes, you can change the configuration of your cabinets after delivery. However, keep in mind the number and sizes of worktops included with your set, and also be aware that depending on your desired configuration, you may need to purchase extra brackets to support the worktops.
  • Do your products come with the hardware for the installation?
    Yes, Armadillo cabinets, shelving racks, and wall shelves have the necessary hardware for the installation.
  • Is it possible to have all the locks the same?
    Yes, the same key can be used for all locks on our cabinets.
  • Are cabinet shelves adjustable?
    Yes, the shelves in our cabinets are adjustable, except the bottom shelf, which is fixed.
  • Are the doors adjustable?
    The cabinets do not have adjustable hinges.
  • Do the garage walls need to have wood studs?
    Many of our garage cabinets are free-standing, and others must be mounted to a wall. Please refer to our Self-help product installation guides and videos.
  • Can I put wheels on a Gear Locker?
    You can add wheels to a Gear Locker and any base cabinets. You must select the wheel upgrade option on the product page.
  • Are the cabinets waterproof?
    No, the cabinets are not waterproof. They are water-resistant.
  • Are the Wall Mount shelf cables strong enough to hold the weight mentioned?
    Yes, it is aircraft-grade steel cables.
  • Is it better to mount the wall shelf on the wall or the ceiling?
    The eye pad plates could be mounted to the wall or ceiling; both are perfectly acceptable.
  • What is the metal used for the wall mount shelf?
    It is made out of 12 and 14-gauge steel.
  • Are Armadillo products sold internationally?
    Currently, our cabinets are sold in the United States, Australia, and South America.
  • Do we have any showrooms?
    We are an e-commerce company and do not have any physical showrooms. We do, however, offer an extensive catalog of our products on our website www.armadillotough.com
  • Where are your products manufactured?
    Our products are proudly designed and engineered in the United States, shipped from warehouses in Florida and South Carolina, and manufactured at different factories worldwide that specialize in precise manufacturing techniques.
  • Are the Armadillo Tough Products Patented and Trademark Protected?

  • What if I lost my tool cabinet key or my tool cabinet is locked?
    No worries. Please email help@armadillotough.com with your order confirmation number in the subject line, or click here to open a new product support ticket.
  • What if my cabinet doors/drawers do not close properly?
    First, make sure that your cabinet is level. If your cabinet is level and you are still experiencing this issue, please email help@armadillotough.com and include your order confirmation number in the email subject line or click here to open a new product support ticket. 
  • What if the spacing of the studs does not align with the install locations?
    Installation of a wood brace in between the irregularly located joists could be possible. For further information, please call our customer service at 888.549.1029.
  • What if the spacing of my ceiling joists does not match the desired size and direction?
    Eye pad plates can be positioned up to 6 inches side to side or 12 inches front to back to align with a ceiling joist. If you are not installing the pad eye plates in the intended location, the shelf height needs to be adjusted according to the values in the table in the guide.
  • Can the Wall Mount Shelf be installed on a concrete wall?
    Yes, it does come with concrete anchors to do so. Please refer to the installation manual that came with your specific product. You can also view additional product assembly and installation resources here.

Do Armadillo products come pre-assembled?
Most of our garage cabinets and products come pre-assembled or require minor assembly. Instructions are provided with each product. Visit the Assembly Guide section of our website for specific product assembly instructions.

Are the garage cabinets difficult to assemble?
No, all our garage cabinets are engineered to make assembly easy and fast. Some products come fully assembled right out of the box. Some require minor assembly, like adding legs or wheels.

Where can I access garage cabinet assembly guides?
Product assembly manuals are included in each product box. However, you can access and view product assembly guides and videos here.

How do I assemble a rack or shelf?

How do I remove/install cabinet doors?
While the doors of your cabinet come preassembled to the cabinet, should you need to remove or install your doors, please visit our Assembly Guides and Videos for instructions.

How do I remove a drawer?
Should you need to remove or install a garage cabinet drawer, please refer to the step-by-step instructions provided with your product. You can also visit our Assembly Guides and Videos for instructions.

What is my order status?
To track the progress of your order while it is in route, Click here, then enter your shipping number in the Shipping Number field.  

Why is my order delayed?
While we strive to deliver all orders on time, certain factors are out of our control. Once a U.S. carrier picks up your order, we rely on them to provide accurate delivery timeframes. If UPS is delivering your order, you can register for a free Join the UPS My Choice account to get more visibility into your shipment. We greatly appreciate your understanding and apologize in advance for any delays.

Can I modify my order?
If you purchase cabinets in a set, the cabinets come as a bundled package and cannot be substituted. However, you can purchase individual cabinets to create your personalized set configuration. You can also contact one of our support specialists, who would be happy to assist you with any order modifications by contacting us at 1.888.549.1029.

Can I change the shipping address/change the delivery address?
On the day of your delivery you can not change the delivery date. However, if you want to change your delivery date prior to the day of delivery, you have two options:

Note: We currently do not deliver to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and outside the United States. We also do not deliver to some remote regions within the lower 48 United States. 

What are the shipping timeframes?
Shipping time varies depending on product lead times and the type of shipping service. Your carrier and tracking information will be provided once your order ships from our warehouse.

What should I expect when receiving my delivery?
Armadillo Tough orders are delivered via a U.S. ground carrier. Orders are typically delivered to your door. For orders being delivered by UPS, you can register for UPS My Choice for free and get more visibility into your shipment. 

UPS My Choice allows you to:

  • Tell the driver where to leave your package.
  • Receive delivery alerts and photos.
  • Change the delivery date or location.
  • View the estimated time for delivery.
  • Follow shipments as they move toward their destinations.

Will the carrier call me before delivery?

No, our U.S. carrier will not call you before delivery. If UPS delivers your order, you can create a free account with UPS My Choice and get more visibility into your order's location and delivery timeframe. With UPS My Choice, you can change the delivery date or location, receive delivery alerts and photos, and tell the driver where to leave your package(s).

Do I have to be there to accept the delivery?
You do not need to be home at delivery, but it is recommended. At the time of the delivery, someone 18 or older can accept delivery and sign a proof of delivery receipt. UPS will then place your shipment inside your garage. If you or someone else 18 is not home at the time of delivery, UPS will leave your order outside of your home.

What if I miss the delivery of my order?
If you miss the delivery of your order. Please start a chat, call Customer Support at 888-549-1029, or email us at help@armadillotough.com. You can also contact the carrier directly to attempt the redelivery of the order.

What delivery options are available?
Currently, our products are shipped via a U.S. Ground carrier like UPS. UPS will place your shipment inside your garage if you are home at delivery. If you are not home at delivery, UPS will leave your order outside your home.

You can register for UPS My Choice for free and get more visibility into your shipment. 

UPS My Choice allows you to:

  • Tell the driver where to leave your package.
  • Receive delivery alerts and photos.
  • Change the delivery date or location.

What if I received an incorrect product?
If you received the wrong item (check the markings on the outside of the box), please do not open the packaging and follow these steps:

  1. Click here to be directed to the returns form.
  2. Complete the form and attach images of the incorrect item received. 
  3. Click the restocking fee acknowledgment box, but note that you will NOT be charged a restocking fee only if delivery of the wrong item was our error. We will review your order details and compare them to the item delivered to make that determination. 

What if my order is delivered with damaged or missing parts?
If you notice any external damage to the packaging, please take pictures prior to opening and follow these steps:

  1. Open the box and inspect the product for damages.
  2. Take pictures of any additional damages you find.
  3. Submit a Warranty Claim form here.

Where is my order being shipped from?
Your order is usually shipped from our nearest U.S. warehouse. If the product is not available in the nearest warehouse, your order would be shipped from the next closest U.S. warehouse that has inventory.

How can I return my order?
Return requests must be received within 30 days of the delivery date. You can Initiate a return request here.

Can I return an item in my order?
Individual items within a preconfigured set may not be returned. For individual items, only unboxed your product(s), it/they may be returned for up to thirty days from the receipt of delivery. Installed or used products will NOT be eligible for a return and refund. Other restrictions may apply.

Return requests must be received within 30 days of the delivery date. You can Initiate a return request here.

Can I exchange an item I ordered?
Armadillo Tough does not offer any exchanges. A return request would be required, and a new order would need to be placed.

How do I return my order if something is wrong with my delivery?
Please do not refuse or return your order with our carrier if you notice any issues with your delivery. Our Customer Support team will be happy to assist you. Please ensure to document any issues, such as damage or missing items, on the driver’s paperwork at the time of delivery and take photos during your delivery. 

Please submit a Warranty Claim form here. Include documents and pictures with your ticket submission. An Armadillo Tough representative will contact you by phone or email with questions to resolve this issue.

How long will my refund take after I submit a return?
The refund process starts once the product is received and inspected at the warehouse. From that point, it usually takes 7 - 10 business days for the refund to post back to the original payment method.

Can I cancel a return?
We are glad you have reconsidered but we can only cancel a return if the products have not been picked up. Should you want to cancel the return, please email us immediately at help@armadillotough.com and include your order confirmation number in the email subject line.

If I purchased a Pre-configured set and want to return one item, could I return it and get a partial refund?
No, the sets are sold at a discounted rate instead of purchasing the items individually. Please contact our Customer Support Team by live chat or by phone at 888.549.1029 for assistance. Have your order number ready.

What is the return period?
Your order can be returned within 30 days from the date your order was delivered. Some restrictions may apply.

Will I be charged for the return shipping?
You will be subject to a 25% restocking fee on returned items, which will be automatically charged to your original payment method once the order is received back at our warehouse facility. You will not be charged for return shipping.

Do I need to return the product by myself?
No, Armadillo Tough will arrange the pickup of the products from your shipping address.

Do I need to package up my order if I am doing a return?
If applicable, products being returned must be ready for pick-up in the original boxes and securely placed on a pallet. If the original boxes are unavailable, the product should be securely wrapped in cardboard and placed on a pallet before the courier arrives.

To return the product, does it have to be in unused condition?
Yes, installed or used products will not be refunded.

Will you contact me to arrange the pickup date?
A returns specialist will email you a BOL (Bill of Lading) or return label, which you must print and have ready when the pickup occurs. Our partner delivery company will call you within 48 hours of the BOL being emailed to you.

Do I need to be available at the time of return pickup?
Someone at the pickup address must be available to sign the receipt. This person must be 18 years old or older.

Will you send me the packaging if I don't have the packaging to repack the product?
No, unfortunately, we cannot supply extra packaging for returns.

Will there be any additional charges if the installer does anything extra?
If there is additional work that you would like the installer to do that is not included in the scope of work for your installation (as specified on https://armadillotough.com/installation-services/), have a conversation with your installer, and they can tell you the cost to perform extra work.

Can I schedule the date of installation?
If you have already submitted and approved your installation quote, please contact the installation company directly to schedule your installation date.

Will the installation happen on the same day of order delivery?
We cannot accommodate same-day installation. Deliveries often happen late in the day, which will not leave the installer time to complete the installation.

What if the installation is not complete on the same day?
Although unlikely, if the installer cannot complete the installation on the same day, please contact the installer directly or contact us if you cannot reach the installer.

Will my installer haul away the trash, old cabinets, or any pallets/packaging that came with my order?
No, installers are not equipped to remove or dispose of any waste.

What if the installer does not turn up on the scheduled date?
This is a very rare scenario. However, if the installer does not turn on the scheduled day, please first contact the installer directly or contact us.

Can I purchase spare parts?
Depending on the specific part you require, we can sell you additional/spare parts. Please Get in touch with us and have your original order number available.

Can I purchase doors separately?
Yes, doors can be purchased separately. Please Get in touch with us and have your original order number available.

Can I purchase wheels separately?
Yes, wheels can be purchased separately. Please Get in touch with us and have your original order number available.

Can I purchase more locker, wall cabinets, or base cabinet shelves?
At this time, we do not sell additional shelves for our cabinets.

Do you price match?
If you find a lower price on armadillotough.com after you order your items, please contact us, and we will assist you with verifying the price match and applying the amount back to your original payment method. Price match requests must be received within 30 days of the original delivery date. Please note we do NOT price match for Armadillo Tough products for sale by licensed Armadillo Tough retailers or dealers.

From time to time, we may offer special offers on certain items. If a promotional offer is available, you will find it on the website.
